Winter/Snowmobiling Report

Hi All
Just wanted to update the report. We have had a warming trend and lost about half our base. We have around 5 inches of base with 3-4 inches of new snow on top. So all is nice and white but hard and crunchy underneath. We have some promising systems on the horizon coming from the West. How much and when they hit we will have to wait and see. Trails are fair to good.
With the melt off we had, it might help the ice on the lakes a little. I have noticed that, on a few lakes, all the snow was gone and then they refroze before we got this snow. We did have a lot of snow on them which isn't all that great for making ice. Ice fishing has been very good on many of the lakes.
