Hi All

 

Just another up date. We have recieved another 4 " today with blowing and drifting near white out conditions for most of the day very cold out. We have over a foot on the ground and the trails are in very good shape for the weekend and next week. The snow and winter is here !!

Just a quick update....we received approximately 4" of fluffy snow during last night and this morning. The total snow levels in the woods ranges from 10" to 12".

As always, I will update you as to the current snow levels and conditions.

Hi All

 

Last weekend was O.K. (it did get a little warm ) . We compacted the 8" - 10" we had to a firm 4" to 6" on the ground now. We keep getting small amounts of fresh snow daily on top of the base we have. It does a good job of keeping everything nice looking and white. It hasn't added any real base. Wish I had a real dumping to report, but I don't. It will happen just don't know when. Keep checking back.

 

Good news on the ice. Ice still has a few thin spots. The majority of our lakes are fair to good ice. I went Perch fishing yesterday and we did fair. The minnows caught the larger ave. but wax worms caught the most and biggest. A friend and his buddy caught a few pan-fish along with a 6.5 lb Walleye. Some Pike have been taken on tip/ups as well this past week. The majority of the lakes still aren't safe for snowmobiles and quads to sit on. You can buzz by at 50 mph around the edges and go thru slush spots quickly. You wouldn't catch me pulling my ice fishing sled with one yet.

 

Last week my friends and I enjoyed our first good fish fry. It was Great ! Now we are back at it piling up the fillets for the next fry. Probably for a Super Bowl Party.
