Hi All

We had a shower last night and early this morning. My boat had a little water in it.. I only show1/4 " in the rain gauge..The fish really responded well to the overcast day and the little bit of rain. Herds of fish were passing and not biting anything while moving today. It was one of those days where there was so much moving around going on they didn't bite good.. Still need much more rain. Some is forecasted for Wednesday..

The fishing is still par for the course with the conditions we have. Nothing to brag about on the ##'s side of things. Still putting a few in the boat every day. Most of the guest staying here are having a pretty good time hooking them, landing them is another subject. I'm still washing lots of lures down low. Every day is a new favorite color it seems..

It looks like October is going to have a very big run (as it does most years). It was looking like back in August with the cool / rainy summer we had that the run was going to be over and done early but that is not going to be the case this season. Who turned off the faucet. Will you please turn it back on for a while ..

Not much else new, just very busy. Here are some new pictures..

My dates booked in October are  1,2,3,4,5,8,9,21,24.. The rest are open for some great fishing and fall colors..October is  my favorite time of  year to fish. It starts to cool down to where it is comfortable to be in waders and the colors are breathtaking. The fly bite is off the charts with cooler water, winter on it's way and tons of food floating down the river. It is great fun to fish to a mixed bag. You never know what's going to grab that fly as it slides off the gravel and down into that pocket water or deep hole. Think Chrome....
